Introduced by the Illinois Central Railroad on April 27, 1947, the City of New Orleans was created as the daylight companion to the famed Panama Limited, providing fast, comfortable all-coach service between Chicago, Memphis, and New Orleans.
Faithfully reproduced in O Scale, each car features precision-crafted aluminum bodies, individually applied underbody details, fully detailed interiors with seated passengers, ball-bearing trucks, and flicker-free LED lightingfor exceptional operation and realism.
