The first units, SD70ACe Nos. 1230 “Birmingham” and 1231 “Atlanta,” debuted in 2025 wearing striking, high-visibility graphics and have already led freight and business train assignments across the system. Our model captures this fresh-off-the-mainline look with the precision and weight Sunset Models is known for.
Built to satisfy both operators and collectors, this SD70ACe is packed with detail, engineered for smooth performance, and outfitted with state-of-the-art electronics. Whether you run 3-rail with TMCC/Legacy/DCS or 2-rail with ESU Loksound 5.0, Blunami, or conventional control, you get the complete modern-diesel experience in O Scale, executed at a standard that rivals late-run brass.
