Sunset Models 3rd Rail’s GS-4 No. 4449 is a faithful, lovingly engineered O-scale reproduction of one of the most photographed and beloved steam locomotives in American railroading. Built by Lima in 1941, the GS-4 combined streamlined Art-Deco styling with cross-country power.
 
Inside, the model is engineered for reliable, prototypical operation. Full brass construction, precision gearing, sprung drivers and tender trucks, operating sand and turret hatches, and a fully detailed backhead provide realism at every angle. Electrically, the GS-4 is ready for modern control systems: 3-rail ERR CRUISE/TMCC compatible with Legacy and DCS, and 2-rail Tsunami sound, plus the optional Blunami upgrade for collectors who want a blended digital sound experience like none other.
